Discovering Binondo

 

One of the things I would like to fullfil this year is to be able to explore new places, try out new adventures, do more of the things that spike my interests, get fit and toned(started going to the gym september last year and hoping I could commit more!), try out new food choices and gain new friends(I guess, that's sounds fun haha!). Went to Binondo with my friends Ivy and Custer last friday to check out some cool stuffs there and food(this is not slipping out of the things, munching!). All threee of us is going to Binondo for the first time so we get a little lost but, we talked our way to find the place we like to see and eventually get there just in time. Whew! Binondo is quite congested I may say 'coz we can't hardly find street names(that's how I look for place, I guess everyone will do the same. LOL!). There are lots of stuff you can get there and Divisoria is nearby as well so you can have a handful of things to look at. From merchandises and food, I guess you find it there. In out of the stores that we went to, there were plenty of Chinese buying too and they buy many, so many! Oh, If I'm not mistaken, Chinatown is within Binondo. I would really like the place more if its much more accessible. There are places that are easy to go through while some are just really crowded with goods. Moving forward, we went to Lucky Chinatown Mall(I didn't know there's a mall there. Cool!). First thing we saw there is Starbucks. It's so different than the usual 'coz its chinese interior, so cooool! The place is less crowded so we roam around(I would really like to come back here 'coz its spacious and less crowd). Since, were in a place with lots of Chinese, we decided to eat oa a chinese resto. I am not of huge fan of other cuisine other than filipino, american, japanese and italian but, the food was great. I feel like I was in the cooking masterchef anime show. So much work from noodles and cooking makes the dinning experience really good. There are lots of restaurants there as well you can check out(will go back there for fooood! haha~!). Well, it was exhausting moving around crowded places so we didn't manage to visit popular resto's there, there's an old church as well that is being repainted, wanna go there too. Too many things left undone but i will make sure when I got back there I can visit more.

 

 

Braised Beef Noodles. We ordered the spicy one but we hardly taste chili but the deef is so tender and the noodles freshly made so it taste good. 

 

Passion Berry. Tastes like raspberry black currant but not that too sweet.

Feel Alive

Something good is up in the music scene lately and I have it in my playlist in loop almost all of the time. You know the feeling when your energy is just running below the normal and you need something to fuel you up and energize you? Music is one of the best solutions to that! Just have your iPod or your smartphone with you and plug in those headphones on and you're up to enjoy your day listening to real good music to get enjoy and make the most out of your day. I have been listening to the very nice and groovy beat of "Skydive" and I can just have it and "Alive" on loop together and I'm pumped up. Makes me feel like I want to be DJ as well with their music(I wanna be one, really! I wanna be a lot of things I like and admire. haha!).

Banapple Pies and Cheesecakes

Our family went out on a weekend all together and something that wouldn't be gone is for sure is... food! We already had lunch and was looking for some delicious dessert to complete the experience. Good thing there is Banapple already in SM North Edsa's Sky Garden, the closest one to our place. It was past lunch already yet their place is a bit small and jam packed with customers. Nevertheless, we were still able to have our cakes and pies cravings solved. It was such a guilty pleasure for me since I am trying to watch my diet so that going to the gym won't be waste. I guess sometimes we should treat ourselves something good so that we can still achieve our goal without sacrificing much of our craving and have more eagerness to do it. Well, it will be a long time before I will visit the store not because I don't want their cakes but, just to make sure I will be able to achieve my fitness goal for 2014.

Cold Stone Creamery

After hitting the gym, my older sister and I went to SM North Edsa. While waiting for our parents and sister, we decided to try out this Cold Stone Creamy. They had us taste almost all of their ice creams so that we can decide better what to order(we actually enjoyed tasting almost all of them. Haha!). As usual, I asked for their best-seller and it just past me(didn't actually get what the guy said) and chose Coffee and Dark Chocolate(I was just choosing what I know for sure is good *wink*) while my sister chose Choco Truffles and Butter Cake(that's what I remember). After paying for what we took, we saw the signature creations poster and stared at it. We should have order that! No regrets though, Their ice cream really taste good. Probably something to go for if your looking for great ice cream. Anyways, we enjoyed it :)

Good Personal Outlook

It was already a habit of mine to get a facial care so that I could feel good about how I look like and just the feeling the your face is clean. It was supposed to be monthly thing for me but I missed two weeks from the scheduled date. I was just feeling that its not yet time for it but, the time has come to get some facial derm and feel good about yourself. From my experience, the first the I had it was really painful. I was like to what did I do wrong to the person whose working on me to hurt me this bad. Well, as they say...No Pain, No Gain. It took me a year to do it again then, I already got used to it. It's just temporary pain and that overcoming it is such a good feeling. Knowing especially that it is good for you. Now its like easy breezy(LOL!). If you have the guts, why not give it a try, the people here knows what they do and will inform each and every step of the way so that you can achieve the best results. Feels so good when you know your face is clean(ayt!).
