Tagaytay Roadtrip

One of the best times you could have is having some quality time and bonding with your close friends. It is such a good day after a storm just past by and it could not get any better as me and my very good friends are finally going to see each other again for our annual get together again after graduating from college. We are going to hit the road to Tagaytay! It will be a lot different than our usual brunch within the city because this time it will be quite a ride to the very breezy Tagaytay city from the south of the metro. It will be just a day around the city due to the storm that went by, our overnight plan got shortened to just a day. Nonetheless, as long as your with the people you are happy being with, things will surely be fun no matter what. We usually plan our annual get together close to my birthday and as a surprise, my friends suprise me with a small cake filled with candles. However, they weren't able to prepare because as usual I'm right on time and catching them do the surprise in the car, hahaha! Were just a small group of close and good friends but, as soon as we see each other, the fun starts immediately. Just like our old college days, we started chatting and exchaging laughs on a lot of things. We were not able to notice the time as we continuously catch up on each other and the next thing we know is that we can already slide down the windows and feel the breeze of the city. We bought stuffs on the road immediately and went straight to our brunch, Bag of Beans. The place was really nice and have this traditional feel of the place. Something you would like to have to escape from the usual scenery in the metro. We had their brunch buffet which was pretty nice. After the brunch we go to the SkyRanch. The place was quite not that big of an amusement park but you can spent some good time there. So what's not to miss is their  famous sky eye ferris wheel. It is my first time to ride once and I guess my partner-in-crime too. As my usual first imperession when it comes to amusement park rides, it will be just as easy as riding a gondola and finish a cycle of it. Not so much of a big deal isn't it? Hahaha. Alright, so this experience was really new and one of a kind for me so I will going to detail at some point, just to emphasize in words how it went.(Yes, first time eh!). After falling in queue, we jumped in to our gondola and immediately position the three of us in a balance seating so that it won't tilt. As we went up, that's when you start to have your fear of height going in. At first we just joking but we are really going much higher now and we can see that beautiful from afar but looking down where we are, the view was really getting quite into our nerves since the ferris wheel was sitting just right next to a ravine! How could that be a pleasure to see?! To make things more intense, as we are approaching the top section of the wheel, high winds are making scary squichy sounds inside the gondola. It makes you think that the gondola is falling or going to be blown off is some way, Hahaha. Our action plan to ensure things won't get crazy inside is that no one is going to move a single inch. Whew! we were like frozen inside with heartbeats going out of the usual. When we felt we are already descending, a huge sigh of relief because hearing people scream from the other rides below you doesn't help at all. We thought we are going to something not pleasant but we were able finish the ride laughing on each others way of trying to get over the ride. Moreover, we enjoyed the incredible view there is and the cool winds that is blowing around the place. We stopped by a church for some prayers before heading our way home. Our day is almost complete as we head through back home and pick up some 'Pasalubong' on our way home. It was a day well spent together with a good company with your friends.
